Diesel Injector Replacement

Hi, does anyone have a cost for replacing a diesel injector, I have had a ‘leak-off’ test carried out and am advised that 1 of the 4 injectors leaks 30% more than any of the others hence the need to replace 1 of the 4. The quote I have had is over £350 to replace the faulty one including reprogramming

Seems a bit high to me, any thoughts??

About correct price, when I thought I needed one, that's the price quoted. If not a little cheap.

I just had all 4 copper washers replaced on my Mazda 2.2 diesel engine. It wasn’t necessary to replace injectors at all. The total cost in vat was £400.
To replace 1 of them would have cost £200.
Maybe it’s just a washer that needs replacing?

You don’t say what vehicle etc……..some injectors are more than half of that cost before labour, vat etc.

A leak off test is done on the injector alone & out of the vehicle.It means it is leaking when shut. Nothing to do with the copper sealing washers which are to prevent blow by when the injector is clamped down to the combustion chamber.
