I'm a newbie had a wobbly box when adam was a lad
Greetings still in search of my first MH and have seen a few advertised with diesel heaters, are they more efficient/cheaper to run than LPG. My current wobbly box has a gaslow system I fitted and plan to transfer and am currently paying £1.10 per LTR what are your opinions?

I would say it is more about convenience than cost .. if you go away in the Winter then diesel is more convenient. Especially if you go to the Alps.

A friend of mine is another fulltimer, with the same van and equal insulation. I have LPG heating, he has diesel.

Last winter we did a bit of a comparison and where my LPG (including cooking and instant water heating in my case) cost around £20 per week, his diesel heating cost around £10 per week.

My LPG cost without heating is around £15 per month.

I'd still keep the gaslow system though. In my next van I'll be installing an underslung tank for LPG again, but diesel heating.
