Dieppe to Loulé in December

We (two adults, two 7-year-olds) are travelling from Dieppe to Loulé in December. We’ll be moving fairly quickly but fancy a few nice stop-offs along the way (also happy to plan in some detours for the right spots).

What places to visit can you recommend? We love nature (beaches, woodlands, mountains, valleys...) and quaint traditional villages and towns. We’ll probably stop in Nantes to see Les Machines de l'Île, so that will be our fill for a big city visit I think...

We’ve not explored the West of France at all yet, so looking forward to discovering a bit of it.
