Nearly came a cropper ourselves in Granada on our departure from seeing the Alhambra. There was a kink in the one way street and they'd put flipping metal barriers at one side and there was a building on the other side, we only just got through with our PVC with the mirrors pulled in.

I have come close to being in the same situation in Montpellier and Monaco and Lourdes and Lisbon and Rome plus a few more, the only time I got stuck enough to do some damage was in a toll booth on the Brenner pass , it was 2.4m wide and the MH was 2.35, all ok until we got the one barrier that was slightly out of line...after that they put a height limit on that lane, don´t think it purely down to me but..............

I blame my passenger seat navigation system that tells me to ´go there´......

About half an hour ago we were sat quietly sipping a glass of red, on site in the warm sun at Sanary Sur Mer, a new arrival crawled in, we thought he was backing up a little so as to turn left....but no he went into reverse and hit a tree bending all of his bike rack and cracking someting..didn't get out..drove forward a bit and backed towards me aiming for the adjacent pitch....he didn't stop until he was well in the hedge....l shot up and indicated no!!!! he waved and drove forward to another pitch, did a three point turn just avoiding someone else's wing mirror, as the owner came out and watched.....this motorhone then backed into a pitch , once again bike rack and rear is embedded in the hedge. He is now setting up a table....parking done for today then.

Was just leaving a site last year and had to wait for someone in a medium size van trying to reverse into a pitch, luckily he had his wife directing as he managed to do it in about 5 tries
There are some bad drivers around although not as bad as some who try to reverse a caravan!!

That’s right bobandjanie I’m just using my UK phone and roaming but did think it was done by location sharing, or how would it know where I was in the U.K. Seems like a bit of half a job, not to worry it’s not important.

We are the same my Spanish sim only has 2 months out of Spain roaming, and our last two trips to the UK have gone over that due to family problems, so we either get 3 data sim or giffgaff and using those back in France or Spain if they still have data shows us in the UK. Bob.
