Can anyone recommend an adult site in Devon near coast near bus/ train links thanks 😊

It’s a big county, north or south coast, seaside town or rural?
‘Search for sites’ has an adults only filter.

North Coast: I’d search for Woolacombe or Saunton area if you like big (sandy) beach places, very popular with surfers. Ilfracombe for seaside town and harbour. Should be reasonable public transport in these locations.

South Coast: Sidmouth area for seaside town & (shingle) beaches. Exmouth for good links into Exeter. Dawlish/Teignmouth area for ‘bucket & spade’ seaside towns, Torbay for big, busy seaside towns and Brixham Harbour. Dartmouth for town & harbour, Torcross & Slapton for shingle beach and Slapton Ley. Salcombe for yuppies. The South Hams
(Bigbury, Thurlestone, Bantham - lovely, but not well served by public transport). Don’t forget Plymouth, it’s a great city particularly Plymouth Hoe & Barbican area.

Plenty more not included here,

julesac85 The site above, Cofton, is ACSI too 23€ a night if you have the discount card.

We had a good stay for a couple of weeks at Lady’s Mile campsite at Dawlish. Could walk into town & Dawlish Warren. Ride bikes to Exeter almost totally on path, big supermarket walking distance very close by, bus outside the gate, easy for trains along the Riviera.

The site was very large with facilities for families, I know your after adults only, but plenty of room to get away from the crowd too if desired. They gave time discounts & electric was metered. It wasn’t a problem to change pitch either, daily if you wanted to 😜

Hi
North Devon towards north Cornwall some beautiful beaches but generally dramatic coastal Clift views .
appledore / westward ho’
( hartland /stoke ) area has some private camp sites adult only . Reasonably price for devon . Trains stn in the north devon area scare really. They Only run from Barnstable to Exeter but journey takes for ever but lovely scenery, Not sure about buses,
North Devon is a great for walking coastal path you can walk miles.
Woolacombe is fantastic as stated in other post but can get very busy. As does croyde / Staunton sands but very popular sandy beaches.
Also worth remembering the country lanes in most areas in n Devon can get be very tight in places,
just take your time and watch out for tractors ,🤣

Ladysmile at dawlish. It is fairly large site for families but it has the advantage of you being able to go an find your preferred pitch . If you park on the grass ones at the far end you have literally a 7min walk to the beach and 12min to the town .
