Hi. I am a newbie to this wonderful looking site. My hubby and i have recently bought a Neoplan coach to convert to a motor home or should i say motor caravan. Does anyone know where i can download a design planner from please. Oh and before anyone points out hubby has a Hgv 1 and has had for over 40 years. Thanks for any help

I think there are some apps you can use for design, basic CAD apps I think.
Probably worth paying for one though.
Worth having a look in app store

I seem to remember Minxy producing some drawings for layouts of Northernraider Vario a couple of years ago. Before he changed his mind and bought something else
Maybe she could let us know what app she used ?

That would great. I have looked at van3d but just seems to cover American vehicles and had not response when asked about my specific vehicle and sketchup isn't quite what i am looking for so any help from anyone would be fantastic

We have just spent $25 on Vanspace 3D, for a year. Initial thoughts are that it is not as easy or good as some room and house design products we have used previously. I thought it would be easier. but I am finding the measuring, positioning and aligning quite tricky and not what I expected.

I was a bit suspicious because there was no free trial period. With hindsight I should have tried Sketchup again, which I have used before for office design. But I am just playing around have no van to convert just some ideas on layout and space use, and really liked the Vanspace 3D visuals and furniture galleries.

Don't know what the DVLA ramefications of converting a coach is nowadays. Reclassification from Coach to Motor Caravan was not possible,

Hi Everyone, We are currently in the process of buying a Coach to convert! At the moment we are trying to work out if it is possible to get it converted with the Dvla into a Motorhome? I’ve found the list on the gov website of current body types that they will consider converting and coach...

Don t know what implications are today. Clarify before being stuck with a coach MOT and Tacho.

I'm old school and just use MS PowerPoint for 2d plans, Wissel uses a 3d one but can't remember which.

I wasnt suggesting you are going to change it externally, just the regulations encountered to actualy use it.
