Delamination normal??

Hi I’ve bought a dethleff euro style from Lowdhams and noticed, what looks like delamination on the side of the camper and been told that this is normal and is an expansion joint! Now am I deft it is what they say??? Or just been mugged off

Need photos, I had to reject a new deathless A7877-2 because the roof was delaminating (picture taken at 6 weeks old )

I was told that there may be a expansion joint at the outer edges on some older models
