That's all I do, except put a wedge to keep the top freezer compartment open and put a thick towel in the bottom to soak up the water to save it from soaking onto the floor!Turn it off, open the door and put a container to catch the water or a cloth to soak it up.

I haven't defrosted a fridge in yearsSame as you do at home with a domestic fridge.
I used to use a mini USB fan, speeds up the process great and it also wedges the freezer door open.
I need to get the fridge back working ASAP to keep the food cool, I'm wishing I'd brought my hair dryerWhat's the hurry, just open the door, wedge freezer door and deploy the towel.
Think of the planet!![]()
Just put it in the sun.I need to get the fridge back working ASAP to keep the food cool, I'm wishing I'd brought my hair dryer

Buy a couple of freezer bags and a couple of freezer "bricks". Freeze the bricks, decant the food to the bags, add the bricks, put the bags in the coolest place in the MoHO (or even under it) defrost the fridge (as per above methods) - Job doneI need to get the fridge back working ASAP to keep the food cool, I'm wishing I'd brought my hair dryer
