If its necessary for those muppets in Westminster to declare their financial dealings, we must be equally transparent.

When a Funster pays any sum of money for one of our rallies, we keep that money in a separate account.

I can declare that in the last 12months all that money, (and we did 5 rallies), earned interest and came to the magnificent sum of;

86p!

If it's kept in that account for 12months, you need to buy Premium Bonds but well done for making a profit! :giggle:

Don't spend it all at once

Dear Beloved One Emmit, I am MisterB, i have access to a large amount of money but need your help to secure it, i am beseaching you to send me your profit so that i may access the legacy left to me, with peace and wishes MisterB

Good idea, except;
I already have Premium Bonds.
Mrs Emmit holds Premium Bonds.

If I bought Premium Bonds as a result of Funsters sending me money,
it would be a nightmare trying to make sure that a winning ticket was
a Funster ticket or an Emmit ticket.

I think I'll pass on that one.

I could go and play Bingo with that money. The adverts say, "Someone wins, every five minutes"
Thing is, How many lose every five minutes? They don't say on the advert.

Please send to me a SAE (First Class) and I will by return, send you the money.

Surely it should be divided according to the number of rallies attended?
OR possibly the total number of nights attended?

Gordon

I always have a charity collection any profit (I wish) would go into that.

All PB's are numbered and if you get a win it shows the number that won, simples! 🤔

That's why ALL the money goes in a separate account.

If I put it into MY Premium Bond account, regardless of serial numbers, my money and the Funsters money would be in one account and just imagine if I won big?

Im not exposing my financial accounts to a Funster who 'suggested' it was Funster Premium Bond

Maybe you could buy a pack of crisps put them in a bowl and pass them around at your next one
I wish.
Don't think 86p would buy a bag big enough for 70ish attendees.

Oh! the problems of being a mega interest earner!

I trust you paid TAX on your accumulated 89p interest.?

Do you know Jim, I don't think we've got anything else earning it.
1. Isn't there an allowance of, say £1000 a year interest before anyone pays tax
2. HMR&C say 'ignore anything under £1' in any calculations. 86p???

Not even enough for a chocolate orange

On a more serious note. We ran a fun rally and all profit and donations from the meet went to a charity. They provided a receipt and thankyou letter that got published on the rally thread. As I recall we raised a few quid and being transparent with member's money is essential. 86p is not exactly profit in the great scheme of things

Did Nicola Sturgeon's lot audit the accounts?
THAT'S IT!!! The search is on for the Funster's £100,000 motorhome that Emmit got £0.86 in change when he bought it.

If found I'll have the last two weeks in June please. :ROFLMAO:

Cheers
Red.

I think all rally organisers put any surplus into charity and publish the figures here. Emmit Derek has always supported Prostate Cancer and I am certain puts a lot of his personal donations in that direction. Even were he to pocket the 86p, he would still be many many times that figure down.
