After asking a few questions, looking at shows we are part way through the process, although won't have to make the final decision till spring 2019.
So far.
Pilote P740C
Height adjustable garage
Uprated to 4400kgs
Motorbike in garage
Spare wheel
Truma heating
Table cushions with mattress topper as daughters bed

More questions to be asked and decisions to be made.
Only hope that Pilote still make the P740C in 20 months time.

You could have a 20 month old one and save some cash.

Agree a nearly new one in the spec we want would be good but don't expect we could find one when we want to buy one.
If we compromise too much we wouldn't be happy so sell it again and never afford what we want.

Hi Jands,

Have a read of the Pilote threads in the Continental Van section as there's a good discussion ongoing about the larger Pilote Pacific series of vans.

Personally speaking I think you've made a very good decision to go for a P740 with a heavy chassis. ;-)

All the best,

Andrew

2019 is when I retire so will have the time to spend on the road,
Money coming from company shares and 25% of a secondary small pension.
Hope to make the correct decision first time as won't have time or money to change after that.
Been reading the Pilote thread which is why I am going with the 4400kgs upgrade.
