11months ago, Halfords fitted a new Agm leisure battery that has failed. The cause seems to have been the battery pole clamp not clamping tight but just working. I bought a new Agm from Hispavan in Spain, the fitter made sure the clamp was tight. After a few days travelling under a hot sun, the battery was barely keeping up with my needs. Determined to get sorted when home, we began using lights very carefully. Then “Ted” another motorhomer suggested checking the battery clamp again…. it had come loose, again. He stuck some wire inside the clamp to tighten the unit on the battery pole. I now get 14volts reading. Thanks “Ted”
