hi,
i have a strange set up. I have the batteries that came with the van and use these to power the lights and usb ports. I then have two large lithium batteries that i use to power all my 240volt appliances.
the main leisure batteries are charged through either 240 charger, solar panels and the dc to dc charger all of which came with the van. I was going to only use solar to charge the lithium batteries and when i have shore power charge the with there own 240 charger.

I am thinking but not sure if its possible of fitting another dc to dc charger straight to the lithium batteries although i am worried about damaging the alternator. the van is new this year. Is it possible to connect two dc to dc charges?

the main reason i keep the batteries separate is so that i do not have to worry about the main leisure battery as i mainly use the lithium ones.

Yes you can connect two B2B's you can even connect the outputs in parallel to give a higher charge to one battery.
You should be able to check the output of your alternator for the part number on it.
