Rally Dave and Polly’s Temporary Campsite 20th -24th May 2021

Massive thanks to Dave and Polly ( toledo ) for organising the event...The weather did not smile on us but who cares !!!
We got out and about, met loads of old friends and had a good time :)
Also got to mention Dave and Polly raised £140 for air ambulance which will be added to what we raise at the Bash... Cheers guys !!
 
As with others, our thanks goes out to toledo, (Dave & Polly) for a smashing weekend, despite the weather which they have no control over.
A great afternoon's entertainment on Saturday provided by Funster musicians. 👍👍👍

It's a shame that the band provided and paid for by the site owner Dougie for free, wasn't appreciated by a certain group of Funsters, who saw fit to occupy a table for six in the marquee, and not even buy a coffee between them...........whilst other paying Funster customers were forced to miss out.
To those responsible, (you know who you are), you should be ashamed of yourselves, for not supporting the event, despite being approached by a member of staff willing to take your order. 🤬🤬🤬

Our thanks to Dave and Polly for a great meet, despite the weather.
It was lovely to catch up with old funster friends and meet some new ones.
Fab that money was raised for a worthy cause 👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks from us too. We had a brilliant time, in spite of the weather. Good company and a chance to meet up with old friends. The Saturday night band were excellent! 😍😍

I'd like to second that. Dave and Polly were fantastic hosts. I really enjoyed the Saturday afternoon session and thought the trio on the evening did a good job. Great to put a face to several avatars I've heard about but not met. 💜

Big shout out to Dave & Polly
for a great meet In spite of the bad weather and very loud neighbours in Tents on Friday night Saturday morning.
Had great fun playing with fellow musicians on Saturday afternoon it was really good to see funsters having a good time after being in lock down for so long .
Met some new funsters had a good time.

Just like to thank Polly & Dave for the weekend meet up, great music from Krusty Whiskas Saturday night. Weather could have been kinder, but we had good time
 
Once again a great Funster weekend, even with the occasional rain.

Thanks to Polly and Dave for sheltering in your little tent when the gale howled around you never hesitating to be at everyone's beck and call throughout. Also thanks to your brave marshal, out in the field, sighting us in favourable positions while the gale blew.
The weather could have reflected May more favourably but the camaraderie was second to none.
 
Yes, it was lovely to get back to a bit of normality thanks to Polly and Dave for organising and the other Marshals for wandering around in mainly shit appalling weather. Nice to catch up with old friends and have a play on Sunday, really enjoyed it, thanks to all the musicians who took part for having a go and funsters for joining in with the singing. Thanks also to the guys and girls for the entertainment on Monday night.

Better late than never, so many thanks from Joyce & myself to Dave & Polly toledo for a smashing weekend.:clap2: It was so good to be able to get back in the swing and meet up with friends new & old. We enjoyed our fish + chips in the pub and the music of Krusty Whiskas once we managed to get a table.:cheers:

P.S. sorry we didn't get to see/hear the Funster band.
