A couple of months ago I got myself a monthly rolling contract with EE on a data only SIM, 16 gb a month on 4g at £22. It was almost enough for our usage per month and coverage was very good only occasionally dropping to 3g now and again during travels. A week ago I upped it to 32 gb per month for just £6 more per month (£28). Just received an email from them offering me a huge 64 gb per month for same price but on a 12 month contract. Not bad at all really, just a shame their roaming rates are pretty crap or I would bite their hand off!

PS...I should add that I have gone down this road as an alternative to having home broadband due to being away 5 or 6 months a year.

Have just got ourselves a Mini Osprey router and EE 4g monthly recurring contract. 32 Gb for £28/mnth.
Really good coverage for our area and 40Meg plus download speeds. Really contemplating ditching the home broadband now and having a greater monthly allowance on a contract.

EE are very good where we live, but as already said, their roaming rates are nonsense, so a non-starter for me.
