Dashcam Fiat Uconnect 10”

Hi,

Hoping someone can point me to a Dashcam (hardwired) that is compatible with the 2023 Fiat Ducato Uconnect 10” info system. The camera needs to work with Remis blinds.

Get a dashcam that's happy to be mounted to the horizontal dashboard, so it sits behind the blind.

I'm currently using a Viofo VS1 mini.

Previously done this on a VW Transporter and it allows you to watch the replays via the Infosystem. Saved me needing to take the memory card out and reviewing it on a computer.

Our Nextbase connected to the PC via Bluetooth so no need to take the card out.

Does the camera mount on the dashboard so it’s in effect, upside down?

A picture would be great if you wouldn’t mind as I’m after one that fits on the dash rather than hanging down from the top of the screen and will fit behind the cab Remis blinds.

Yes, the hinged base works fine for mounting on a dashboard. And there's settings to flip the image.

I previously had a cheap Aukey camera that's lasted many years. That didn't have a rotate option, so everything was upside down. Didn't make any difference to the police when someone cut me up on it motorway and I submitted the footage. They still got a careless driving award.

I don't think it matters much which camera you get, as long as the design is flexible enough to not need to be glass mounted.
