All warning lights flashing or just the odometer ? Why did they check the airbag ?

I can't see the attachment so assume all instrument lights were flashing, which normally indicates a low voltage/ bad ground issue . Some OBD readers won't read the airbag ECU and simply read no fault.

A further worry is the engine battery has dropped to 12.5 volts, so I've plugged the ehu in to stop the air bag warning light coming on again. We have a battery master fitted so I cant understand why its draining.

DaveKerry ,If you remove the EHU ,You can check that the (Vanbitz) battery master is working correctly , if you turn the ignition on (do not start) and put the headlights and hazard lights on , the light on the battery master should go from green (battery voltages similar) to red (leisure battery charging starter battery) to show that it is working and its connections are ok
