Hello
I’m looking for a change in motorhome (upsizing due to family).
Anyhoo I saw an motorhome going cheap-ish due to a habitation report showing high damp readings. Vehicle is 24 years old.
Naturally I would avoid as it could be a money pit.
I’m curious as to what you guys & gals think. I’ve attached a photo of the damp readings.
As you can see there are high readings of damp around every single window.
I find it unlikely every window seal has failed and letting in water.
Granted it could be coming in else where but if the report is accurate, it points towards windows.
My thoughts were perhaps the previous owner has been washing this van with a jet wash and water is being forced past the seals hence the readings.
Interior appears good with no obvious signs of prolonged water ingress.
I’d be interested in what others think?
