No longer pristine. I've just spotted paintwork damage to to areas at the rear o/s which I can only assume is from possibly tail swiping bushes on ridiculous French sites with narrow roads and tight right angled turns.
Surprised though that these can cut through paintwork to the metal.
Anyone else found this?

Are you sure they are through to the metal?

Most I find will be removed with a good buffer and some cutting compound, and that’s on my Defender that I drive through tiny tiny gaps in bushes, and trees

Yes, the lower corner scuffs are on plastic but the higher scratches are through to bright shiny aluminium. That's what surprises me. And I was not aware of having done it.

Every Cornish larger vehicle has these scratches.
And every Cornish body repairer can deal with them.

A Cornish 'Motorway'
(Twin lanes, grass down the middle, just like motorways elsewhere)
Nice shot of the M30, just outside Penzance if I'm not mistaken ;) :ROFLMAO:

Similar here in Skye ... though we have ditches and bogs instead of stone hedges (y) and the scratches are more likely due to hielan' coos  (and the occasional bull)

On mine it’s usually on the windows , I polished them off with toothpaste!

Try cartec refinish kit with a sanding pad. I was amazed at what it cleaned/repaired my van scuffs and scratches:)

Usually it’s the newly cut bushes/hedges that are the culprits

Currently in Veryan Cornwall, been here 4 nights , I enquired about the local beaches for my 2 hounds as the are getting a bit restless, ooh no not in your Moho , you’re going to be stressed!! Drove down here from Minehead and hit some tight spots, so not willing to take the risk again.

There’s Carne Beach just down the road from you. The full size bin lorry goes down there so even if they haven’t cut the hedges it’s generally accessible in a Moho. Large National Trust car park, free to members. Nice beach. Keep straight down Pendower Road towards the sea. Turn left Carne Beach sign. Don’t be tempted to take the other route. That is very narrow.
