I find Dacia was like Skoda in the 80s, People sniggered until they drove one. Then bought one for much less then a ford.

The difference being that all Skoda's are now VW / Audi based .

Dacia has evolved, it is no longer as cheap as before, like all brands now (which have eliminated cheaper versions and models from their catalogue)
The new Dacia cars have a more attractive design and have been praised by the specialized motor press.
