Hi All
Wondering if someone can help. Instaled new lithium battery with Orion xs dc to dc charger, with existing Nordelectronica NE350.
Both dip switches changed to lithium and dc to dc on NE 350. I now no longer have auto step retract or 12 volt fridge on engine start up. Also to note i could not get a d+ plus.signal from jp18 pin 4 for dc to dc. Has anyone any experience and could help me troubleshoot. Thanks Andrew

I think pin 4 is live when engine off but 0voltswhen running, do you not have wiring diagram to be sure of correct d+ trigger.

So, you couldnt get the answer from facebook LOL - hopefully someone will be able to help on here, i am sure its pretty much the D+ aswell. can you retrace your steps and remove the B2B out of the install (just disconnect) and put all the cable back as they were to see if that works?

if it does, then effectively you just need a new D+ or a D+ simulator to the B2B and leave the original. connections as they were. Another test (possibly) would be to put a temp switch into the D+ cable to the B2B and see if by isolating the B2B switch, if the step and fridge still function. I am not sure if the fridge starts immediately when it gets the D+, no doubt someone will know though .....???? if it takes a few minutes, then it might only be an issue with the step??

PS welcome to the Fun House, its well worth joining and paying the subs !!!

Thanks I do have diagram, could not get signal from pin 4 and dc to dc would not start. It works fine without d + but no fridge and auto step is the bigger issue 🤣

So I got around to reversing the set up today and the step and fridge activate on engine start up. I am not too worried about the d+ to dc2dc. So there must be a fault with the NE350.?

will the B2B actually work though - i thought it needed a D+ for it to actually work? if you can get a D+ to the B2B some other way without changing anything on the NE350 and leaving everything as it is - then hopefully you can have everything working

B2b works fine without the d+ I'm more worried about the step and fridge. I read somewhere that leaving the ne350 in standard mode it drains leisure battery. I've reached out to Nordelectronica to advise.

You don’t say how you have separated the charging from the ne350 while engine running, if not done it won’t let the b2b work correctly
