Had already been thinking a shelf like this would be really handy in my RT685. Then I spot exactly what I'm after in an autotrader ad.
Does anyone have any pointers on how to replicate this. Laminate board I get. That strip round the edge looks fairly special. I was going to use aluminium right angles to slot on vertical panel underneath. Any thoughts gratefully received.

I'm pretty sure that a Funster did this and posted it in a thread some time back.

Can't remember who it was but I think they used the head rest holes in the seat to support the shelf.
The edging is a clip in t shaped available at many motorhome converter type shops. Magnum motorhomes for instance.

It's called 'knock on edging / T / trim' so you'll need a router / saw bench to cut the groove 👍

Have a look from post #17 on the linked thread to see what other Funsters have made similar to what you want.

Just fitted mine in the Harmony 690g, very pleased gives us a bit more storage space around the Kitchen area .Forgot to Add must be removed when carrying Passengers 👍.

Mine is just wood, kept the headrests in place. Slide the shelf up to remove the headrest.
