After having a custom adult trike made for cook at an alarming cost she has decided to make more use of the chauffeur "ME".
This trike is virtually new, it has the Bosch crank drive and derailleur gears. It has a large shopping basket on the rear, unused, she has a chauffeur for such mundane chores. It has a huge lithium battery and will cover many miles on a charge.
This trike is not to be confused with the cheep Chinese trikes with hub drive motors, it is the best that money can buy, and is for sale at the ridiculously low price of £800.

Hi Mike, the absolute max is 70cm. This is to allow for the hub caps, you could take these off when loading and reduce the width to 69cm. Alternatively, I have a new covered trailer that could be purchased separately. That bloody trike has cost me a fortune when I think about it. It would have been a cheaper exercise to hire cook a personal chauffeur from day one.

I forgot to say, this is an electric, pedal assist trike. The lithium battery is huge and its just behind the seat in the photos. I forget if it has 3 or 4 power settings, but the highest setting or turbo setting is very powerful and not for the feint hearted. The learner cyclist should only use in the lower power settings until they are used to the machine. Am not sure how far it will travel on a charge, but its a long way, as I only charged it once each week whilst away last year for daily shopping trips. It comes also with a large saddle for the well upholstered cyclist :D.

The yard is better protected than Fort Knox. 2 metre high steel gates and a very angry cook patrols the inner sanctum brandishing a very heavy frying pan.
