Hi
I have a 1993 B544 Hymer which I have owned for a few months.
I'm going to be popping a few little questions on and what I will say is I do usually try to find out the answers before I ask .....I like a bit of research :).
However, this is driving me to distraction.
My little motorhome came with nets across both side windows. I like the nets.
It also has curtains that are quite clearly wide enough to cover the window yet are on a piddling little track - photo attached that's about 30 cm and under slung from the cupboards so are in effect in a tie-back position all the time.
I have asked perhaps half a dozen companies - and not can supply me a longer piece and have had no luck. Its a piece of plastics UPVC basically. The curtains are compatible with the originally supplied hooks otherwise Id change the hook system - but I'm no sewer and changing the curtain tops isn't for me either. As a last option I contacted Brownhills who contacted Hymer so I'm assuming it is a Hymer part and you don't need to be an Einstein to have a idea of how much this bit of plastic trim will costs (Brownhills were prompt with their replies though and I do like that)
Has anyone seen this type of track anywhere else?
Thanks,
Jo

Hiya - yes tried Brownhills. I will drop the ebay seller a line but the previous ones I've tried also has the same shapes this one does but you never know.

Thanks very much for the reply.

If you have to change the curtain track the tape sewn onto the top of the curtains should be the same sort of tape all curtains use, just different widths so you should be able to just buy new 'hooks' to match the track you use!
Our '91 Hymer has a 'channel' type track-2 channels side by side-one for the nets and one for the curtain.

Thanks very much for this. This does look like where I'm heading - I just wanted to ask on the track before I went to an alternative plan.
Ta,

I think the idea is if you pull the curtain it will just cone off the track, rather than the track comming off its fixings.
