This will be obvious to all you expert electricians, but unfortunately I failed A level Physics...........
I wired in a new signal lamp for a low water level sensor. I took power from an existing lighting circuit. All works fine, but when the signal lamp lights, the lamps on the existing circuit also dimly illuminate, even though the switch for that circuit is off. I guess this is some sort of back leakage of current? What would be the best way to stop this happening? TIA.
