Morning all
I'm looking for recommendations on something to organise the mug/plate/dish cupboard; something that of course stops things rattling whilst on the move. I've done the Googling but calling on experience to see if there's options I've not considered.
Cheers

Don’t think we paid that much at the time
I hope not! Obviously thirty quid is nothing compared to the original purchase price of the rig but I'd seriously resent spending that for a bit of foamy stuff.

Speaking of which & returning to the OP question, we use melamine 'crockery', plates under bowls, weighed down with a proper pottery mug wrapped in tea towel. (We like our tea from proper mugs.) Other mugs in tea towels sitting in a corner of cupboard. Seems to work.

Wine & beer glasses (which also have to be 'proper' glass) also in tea towels in other cupboard.

I tried to make something like the nice work by ToBoldlyGo but space too tight in pvc & the tea towels have to be somewhere so why not put them to use....

Bamboo plates, look cool, more natural, lighter, very durable, thinner and dont chime when they rattle.

We use a combination of:
UPVC panel cut and glued into custom-sized drawer 'organiser' [cutlery, utensils, food wrap, foil, teatowels, etc]
UPVC rainwater pipe slit along length, moulded in hot water around mugs & glasses, screwed to drawer frame
Various 'click-lid' food storage boxes carefully selected to fill drawer & overhead locker area & height
In the old van we had folding wire 'shelves' & wire plate & cup racks that came with the van.
