Aire Cumbria

There are now only 2 councils in Cumbria - Cumberland (covering Carlisle and the old West Cumbria districts of Allerdale & Copeland) and Westmorland & Furness (covering South Lakeland, Furness peninsula and Eden)
My initial thought would be Carlisle - relatively under touristed compared to the Lakes hotspots.

We stay on the car park at the Castle for £4.10 per 24 hrs.
10 other campers from all over Europe, regularly stop overnight at this spot.
Happy with the parking charge and do not wish it to change by providing services.
However the metal bridge pub on the cumbria side could be a good location?

Anywhere outside the National Park area is a contender, Whitehaven, Barrow and Workington are a bit industrial but anywhere else is a possibility
