Autocruise Starfire
We are going to be travelling from Calais through into Spain for the first time in March and I'm trying to obtain a Crit'air sticker. We have a 1999 Fiat Ducato Autocruise Starfire. I have however hit a stumbling block on the application form. It asks for Co2 emissions which should be found at V.7 on the V5C document but this is left blank on ours. I rang DVLA who can't help as they only have the same information as is on the logbook. Has anyone else had a similar issue and if so how did you get round it? We are not intending on visiting any of the cities listed on the permanent Clean Air Zones map as we want to get into Spain fairly quickly to spend majority of time there so would a Crit'air sticker really be needed? Any advice appreciated.

I wouldnt really worry about them. We have them but to my knowledge they have never been checked and we have never been asked to show them.

Just attach a photo under 400 kB of the inside of your V5 with your application they will issue the appropriate Crit Aire sticker

All they do is put you on a Data base that offers them an option to find you so they can fine you for some misdemeanour that you might have done whilst driving.
The administration cost for the sticker is about £4.00, they must be loosing money at this price but recoup it in fines. Just an opinion and l have passed through many of these zones with no sticker. Just saying🙂

I think my CO2 reading is on the certificate of conformity, not the V5 one this or the last van
