Can someone please advise what I enter in 'commercial description' for my Crit Air. I can't find any help on the french website. MH at 4 tonnes. Also, correct in using M1 as vehicle category even though it refers to cars on the website? Thanks

From memory I think I put light commercial I wouldn’t worry to much they will sort it when they see your documents

Yes M1 is the correct class for a motorhome. Its not the weight or the size that is the factor, its the Euro emissions standard of your engine that counts.

A tip when you scan your V5 to submit it, scan it in black-and-white to keep the file size down.

It means model. When I did it yje other day I clicked on the I for info next to the box & it said that

A tip when you scan your V5 to submit it, scan it in black-and-white to keep the file size down.

On mine I just took two photos on wassapp & sent them. all good.

just looked again. each time you fill in a box on the right is a rectangle " access to explanatory notes" It only addresses the answer for the box you are filling in. when you get to commercial description click on it then & it says model of vehicle

What Speve said at post #2 - just leave the bits you are unsure of blank. As long as your V5 is posted properly, the French seem very obliging and will fill in the details for you.
