I am going to apply for a Crit Air sticker and on website it asks vehicle class.
According to my V5 it is M1, on website that is for passenger cars. As this is a Hymer 6m Fiat Ducato based PVC is that correct?
Thanks

M1 is the classification for "Vehicles used for carriage of passengers, comprising not more than 9 seats with a gross vehicle mass (GVM) not exceeding 3500kg"

So yes. (Assuming of course it weighs less than 3500kg)

M1 as below chart explains. Don't worry about 'cars' most legislation refers to passenger vehicles, goods vehicles etc

Thanks for the replies.
I thought it was correct, but you have that niggling that it doesn’t sound right.

Really struggling with online purchase… all is well until I try and attach copy of V5 then I repeatedly get error saying file is too big. However, my file size is well below the 2mb limit. Anybody encountered similar?

You can resize it using an online pic re sizer but the easiest way is to open it on screen and screen shot the image and use that.

Edit - just checked and the screenshot version of mine is 83.5 KB

Thanks, screen shot is a neat idea, but I’ve eventually solved the problem. It wouldn't take the picture which I’d reduced from about 2.8mb to 800kb, but it was ok when I converted the picture to a compressed PDF file of 1.8MB! What a load of faff, but as they say persistence pays 🥴
