Council survey re motorhome overnight parking at Lytham.

I live there (or here, should I say). I agree with MisterB ... Reducing the number of motorhome spaces may only move parking to other areas that are uncontrolled. ..... A pre booking service only. That way you can control the numbers at any given location a ... etc.
The problem at St Anne's was that there were too many MHs and all the spaces were occupied, and still more MHs turned up, and because they would not have known that all the spaces were full, so they just parked ... and no other members of the public could then use the car park.
So something has to be done. It's just a matter of what.
Good idea to open up other spaces. This could provide income, offer an extra pair(s) of eyes for security, get us off the streets etc. Pop-up Motorhome parking eh! Pop-ups seem to be in vogue at the moment, although not to everyone's joy perhaps.
I just booked a CL for Sept using an online booking form. I also had to speak with the owner and it turns out that he told me he used an online web service to organise his bookings, and he didn't pay any commission , and he didn't have to have any web expertise in doing so (https://en.freetobook.com/ if you want to know the website). So surely any Council could utilise something like this and add card payments services (+Plus services at £89 pa ) rather than have a French company come in and .... well you know the rest. What was it now? Oh yes, Brexit, something about getting back control wasn't it?
