How long will the run of cable be, what current does the bed need.

Electrical system designs aren’t based on recommendations, they are designed on absolute facts, these being, voltage, load and cable length but to name a few. Safety first…

Basically all I want to do is remove part of bed cable harness that in place, but leave everything that goes to bed motor/ protection fuse which only 3amp fuse .
Then have a direct route to engine battery.
Length of run around 5 meter.
My electric bed goes down no problem,
But doesn’t always raise on its own ,
I did test yesterday with one of my spare batteries I have in home garage and I did temporary wires straight to cable harness / bed controler from the spare batteries.
