Cost of 6kg calor

Just exchanged a 6kg calor for my son, cost £34!! Glad I have got gas low fitted, same would cost about £5

That's actually slightly less than a year ago. I paid £36 for an exchange back then.

You must have cheap LPG around there 6kg is almost exactly 12 litres so roughly a tenner around here

6kg is about 12L .. so about £12 for LPG ?

but your point is well made..

I have 2 x 6kg in my van for over a year... one is still full ..

Gas is only used for cooking.. and hot water ..space heating is diesel

but most of the aires we visited this year were CCP , and had a 6A EHU which is adequate for the Truma electric hot water heater .. so used hardly any gas ..

I fitted 2 x 11kg Gaslow bottles in a previous van as it used LPG for both space and hot water heating.. but wouldn't do so in my present van as pay-back would be measured in years...

Similar to what ours was but a single refillable was great so you could just top up.
