Cosmos satellite dome

I have a cosmos satellite dome and when I turn the control on a red light light runs up and down the control box, the dome makes its usual whirring noise but won’t log on to a satellite, is there anything I can do to rectify this

It sounds like an issue with the control box, it may need an update?

Are you sure there isn't a tree or building blocking direct line to the satellite (approx south/east)

As above...Soft as it may seem...move the truck and try a different clearer position. If it fails then...Update and it should be fine , its part of the Oyster system so should be easy enough.

I went to road pro and had mine updated we’ve had it20years still good.

Right then another trick I have found to work sometimes... set the box to find another satellite and then try again on Astra 2S

Sounds like it needs it frequencies update but I’m not sure how you do it on that dome. Roadpro would be your contact I would think.
I had to have my Tracvision done updated earlier this year.
