Corsica and Sardinia in Spring

We are planning to tour both Corsica and Sardinia in April/May and the onwards to Greece via Sciliy and Italy. We have a 9m tag axle van and are in no hurry as we do not need to be back in the UK till September.
Any advice and recommendations on routes, ferries and sites/Aires/wild camping spots would be greatly received as well what to avoid!

Hope you have a great trip. The islands of Corsica and Sardinia are stunning.

They only caution I'd give regarding Corsica, in particular, is that with a 9m rig, it would be worth some careful advance research regarding which roads to use. Some of them on the west coast and in the mountains are tiny! Perfectly OK route down the east side of the island, and whilst reasonably scenic, perhaps not quite as much as the west or mountains.

Although we've been to both islands, haven't taken the van - so not a lot of other practical advice.
