I have twin 11kg installation exp date 2028, I have noticed some corrosion on the number one bottle near the base of the cylinder on the tank itself.
Has anyone had this problem? Gaslow suggest that it would be ok to clean it up and repaint it! me I'm not so sure. Any observatyions appreciated, the complete system is warrantied until 2028, so I may have tp press the point with Gaslow for a new cylinder foc.

Good luck with that. At best As irs useable life is 10 yrs...it's 2/3 of the way through it's life...so in the unlikely event Gaslow agree it's their fault you would at best expectations 33% discount on a new bottle.IMO.

Yes noticed a bit on ours, (3yr old), I have just cleaned them and then sprayed with a silicone " bike protect" to hopefully hinder the corrosion, plan to do every now and again

Further investigation found that one of the retaining straps had slipped down from the plastic Matt sleeve, Collecting some moisture, sand down and repainted.

Is it on the actual pressurised bottle or on the bottom supporting 'ring' below the gas container?
The 'rings' on exchangable bottles are often quite rusty where they've been standing outside for long periods and bashed and scraped on the ground.
Yes, I realise yours are fitted ones.
