Hi Folks,

Apparently I have given false or not enough information regarding co ordinates for the Misterton meet , these should be as follows:-

Site entrance is at the north end of the village opposite Old Haxey Road

Co ordinates are 53' 26' 53.28N
0, 50' 58.69W

I think its a man thing

Thanks Sheila, that explains my current pitch :Rofl1:

What day is everyone arriving?

Hi John

Some are arriving on Wednesday, and Thursday, I think Roger may be there now or tomorrow. Andy will be there Wednesday afternoon.

Weather forecast for the weekend is good, mid 60's with Saturday being the warmest odd chance of shower on Sunday :thumb:

I am on site, the grass is cut and partidge are walking about on the lawn. Other van is a non funster and will be gone tomorrow. The postcode took me to another CS a few hundred yards further north still on the Haxey road but on the opposite side of the road. Coming from the north it is the first farm on the right just past the Misterton village sign, (the second sign)

thats the problem with postcodes.....too many rural places share the same code.

the postcode for the Tan Hill Inn, for example, takes in around 20 square miles and half a dozen farms....completely useless for satnavs using postcode alone.

ps....i hope you're educating the non-funster in the ways of FUN ?
