I'm a newbie had a wobbly box when adam was a lad
Hi all, just doing a few checks before our first trip out and the nearside corner steady won't stay up in the parked position. Had a look at the offside and that one parks pointing towards the front, whereas the n/s is pointing to the back, so looks like it was left down at some point and got forced in the opposite direction, just wanted your opinion before I got my lump hammer out as I tried pulling it back but it won't move. 2009 Autocruise Gleneagle

It is probably best if you can unbolt it from chassis and see if you can put it right on the workbench? Trouble is a lump hammer may cause damage and then you are in deeper do do🫣😊

Update well managed it used my size 9s and kicked it back while still on the chassis but because the u bracket had been forced open it jammed, so unbolted it and put it on the bench to spread it to bring the leg back to its proper position. Then got my trusty old vice and slowly crushed the u bracket closed, bolted it back on the chassis and I now have 2 functioning wind-down legs :Grin:Don't know who made them, but they're well built, and the legs wind down unlike some Alko ones I've seen on YouTube that have pre drilled holes that you have to put pins in :banghead: hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
Cheers

Mine pack away to the rear as standard.

Got the same ones on the Augusta 08 , they are very robust . :-)

Might be because I have a tow bar on an Akko chassis
Ours stow to the rear on an Alko with towbar I would think you could just swap them over and that would work 🤔
