hi people

just wondered if any of you has converted a van with a larger pay load example iveco 5.2 ton ect.
what are the pro's and cons of converting a van larger than 3.5 ton i am looking into a larger pay
load van as i believe its very easy to get close to 3.5 ton and leave no spare capacity for extra items
at a latter stage thanks in advance

Providing you have the license to drive it apart from lower speed limits in Europe can't see any, always good to have more space & payload.

we converted a 17 seter ambulance many years ago never had a problem with pay load it had a ratklif lift on the back we gained abut a tone just removing that.

did mine in the pic and several trucks , ex prison ones make good trucks . had a bedford bus years ago but they do tend or did scream hippy and used to get different hassles .
but there are several chassis cabs out there make nice conversions .

you will have a tachograph and speed limiter fitted on a heavier commercial that will need removing once you have it converted.

no need to remove the tachograph and de limiting it is optional if its a analogue tachograph it just a speedo without a card in it ther is not even a requirement to have a working speedo
