Connecting Cadac to Reich external gas point

Bought a Cadac 2 Cook 3 Pro Deluxe QR at the NEC yesterday and a connector hose which the guy assured me would be all I needed.

Just had a quick look today the QR at the Cadac end is all fine, but not sure if the other end will work in the Reich outlet. Didn't want to force it it and end up with it being stuck, and I'm maybe just being a wuss, but do I need anything else?

As I've seen from previous threads, it all seems a bit tight, so maybe an elbow connector may be a good idea?

It is a tight fit but with a bit of manipulation it will work OK.
You just need to push on the tube a bit.

Same here. They can get a big sticky, I was recommended to give it a silicone spray occasionally.

Thanks for the reassurance everyone, suspect it has never been used so needs the suggested lubrication!

I always have Silicone spray and grease on board for many applications on a motorhome. It pays dividends.
