Hi guys I’m fitting a VictronConnect 50A BTB TO MY DUCATO which you all were good enough to advise me about on a previous thread.
My question is where is it best to tap into the starter battery?
Aldi I’ve got a 60A Mega fuse, will this be ok?
Cheers

On our Ducato based Chausson, The battery terminal clamps have extra threaded posts so I have fitted the +ve and -ve using those with an inline midi fuse. All I needed to do was crimp on appropriate terminals and find a couple of nuts!

No spare way on your Fiat Fuseholder so just fit a Midi Fuseholder to the side of the battery box with self tappers. And connect to the main bus bar the other fuses are fed from.
A Mega fuse is rather large better to use a midi fuse. Off Grid now recommend using 80 amp fuses which is what I used.

Thanks for the useful advice re fuse....I was wondering if 60a was a big enough margin. Ive edited my reply to the right kind of fuse as well!

Ok Lenny, thanks.
I’ve got a 60A Mega fuse but should I be using the MIDI type?
