Connect battery monitor

Hi,

to all those electrically minded super stars out there
Need to know whether to connect to external power supply to the battery charger or the vehicle battery. Please see photo attached Thank you Eric.

I would think the vehicle battery because it says for power if the hab battery is below 8 volt. But if it is below 8 volt it is absolutely bu****ed anyway so of academic use only. Or you could just use a dry cell I suppose if connection to the vehicle battery is difficult.

I'm only in Lancing if you have a problem, I'm not sure what the unit is that you have.
The only decent accurate battery monitors are the Victron Smart Sunt or the Victron BMV712.
