On a Facebook group I’m told that for travelling through Switzerland you need a physical Vignette sticker on your windscreen but before this FB post I was under the impression that paying for a 10 day pass via the VIA App was acceptable . Can anyone clear this up with some real life facts.
cheers

If you register your vehicle on the VIA app you get a digital receipt, stored in the app, which gives you the necessary proof that you have paid the required Vignette fee.

You need to ensure that you register and pay before entering Switzerland.

Can't take a screenshot of the relevant page in the app info pages as the app does not allow.

Above info is for up to 3.5t motorhome.

Download the VIA app and you can access the very clear info pages.Hope this helps.

I thought the VIA app was for >3.5T ? (never needed it ourselves)

Vignette is certainly only applicable up to 3.5T (£33 for 1 year Jan - Dec) can be bought as you enter at a large border crossing.

If your van is 3500kgs or less then it's a physical sticker which you can buy (or actually, you will be sold), at the border. If your over 3500kgs then it's via the app 👍
