Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Why for rallies? I wouldn't bother if I was on on a rally or any other trip because with the doors and maybe the windows being constantly opened you'd be trying to dehumidify the entire outside environment.

After trying the granular type de-hydration boxes while van in storage we have bought and been very impressed with this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08JMFHLRB/?tag=mhf04-21. It really does hoick the damp out and into its store. Would certainly recommend.
Had one of these in the van for past 12 years and swear by it. Certain wouldn’t be without it now, they really are that good 👍🏻

Plus you can now buy different flavours so the van pongs nice too 😀

I didn't mention rallies. I use this when the van is in storage.

Happy FLT since 2011
How do you know it's working?
Is it just by the amount of water it's collected?
Have you made the van air tight?
