Hey all, we've had a 2013 Autocruise Alto for the last year and it's been great and without problems. Anyways, while out in it last night we noticed a light damp patch on the lining (and the bedding) above the storage area above the cab where we keep the bedding, this morning it was dry but on the way home a few drips came out from behind the sun visors, landing on the gearstick. Never seen this before and wondered if it would be related to a newly installed solar panel or not. Had a wee look above the foam panels today and there was condensation on the roof above the insulation. The combi boiler heaters were on quite a bit last night. Would there normally be condensation above the insulation? Thanks (ps posted elsewhere too)

Newly installed solar? Coincidence? I guess water from that installation could travel a long along the roof before entering the hab area. Hope you sort it soon.

If the insulation has been done correctly then you should not get any condensation above it but the fact that you can move the foam panels suggests that warm air can make contact with the tin roof when it should not be able to.

when i did my self build we were using it partly completed the area abve the cab wasnt insulated we wound up with the channels either side of the van roof full of water that would appear through the cab light on heavy braking as it surged forwards and over flowed
