Concerned about French speed camera problem

just arrived back in YUK after 6 weeks touring EU 9 countries 3000miles coming from Versailles to dreux we passed 6 speed cameras the little grey roadside ones on a dual carriage way the spped limit was 130kph and we were cruising in inside lane at 100kph or 60mph , every tiem I passed one of the radar spped unit it flashed me ????? most other traffic was doing 110 or 130kph so why am I getting flashed on one occaision i slowed to 80kph and box still flashed me ????

I am concerned about this is it normal for these units , am I being paranoid or will I get false tickets

That also has happened to us with no consequences!

We had the same earlier this year, as Landy Andy says, it thinks your a lorry due to the size of your MH.

Happened to us on way back from Loire Valley at start of July, we had a Toad too! Nothing turned up in the post……yet!

It's happened to us on a few occasions, like someone said the camara flashes something large. We've never had anything back in the post.

My preference is to travel at lorry speed when in the area of speed cameras. They don’t flash then.
