I have installed a Victron 30amp smart b2b AND a Victron smartshunt. I was helped diagrammatically every step of the way by Simply Split Charge, who I’m indebted too. However, they are unable (or possibly unwilling) to help me with the settings on the phone app for both of these masterpieces of technology. And I can’t blame them for that.
Yet I’m completely lost with this type of stuff. It’s a bit like an electrical form of dyslexia.
I have 2 70ah batteries in parallel, so 140ah in total, and the type of battery is attached. Can someone please step by step or screen by screen on the relative phone app, inform me in the most simple of manners, what to input when and where before I explode? Having looked long and hard at instructions.
Kind Regards

That is fantastic! But he knows what he is doing. He knows what are the correct parameters—and only for lithium batteries. How is a layman like me supposed to get the relevant information for my batteries? And it’s the same with the b2b.

Here are my settings mine are for Gels so you will need to change the discharge floor to 50%.
Also battery capacity takes into account the 2.5% loss per year I update it each year. I have 3 x 78ah Gels.

Thanks very much for that Lenny, just what I wanted. So I can use those settings exactly? And do you have any screenshots for the Victron b2b?

Sorry don't have a Victron B2.
That screen shot is from my BMV700 so may not be quite the same as the Smart shunt but you should be able to work it out.
You need to adjust the discharge floor & capacity like I said.
