The issue is, according to the article, camping behaviour not parking so they can create as many camping areas as they like but as the majority of MHers don't 'camp' and just 'park' they are unlikely to use them. They really need to get to grips with the ones breaking the rules.

Brag or just give details of how they motorhome? I certainly don't brag but don't use sites etc as we prefer not to, if we felt the need to do so we would. If some had to stay on sites for 90 days it may make it unviable for them to stay away so long, say €20 x 90 = €1800 that's a lot of dosh.

Nothing wrong with stopping for free providing you obey the rules. Please note I said stopping not camping.

Our recent 60 day trip of Portugal we averaged £6 Pn and only wild camped once, even that was with permission of the attraction we were visiting. As Lenny says as long as you obey the rules it’s not a problem, we do like to sit outside so if close to a beach or park and it’s nice and warm we’ll go there and enjoy the area without annoying anyone.

This thread fails to get the message across to the Nationalities that flout the rules more than the Funsters that are reading this....They know who they are... Famous for(1) Cheese, (2)Sausage and (3) Wooden footwear...

At 4pm the smell of fried potatoes and sausages is overpowering

That's the Ahem! Fully clothed section of the Playas.

There's not be many frying bacon and eggs in the non-clothed section - without a lid on the frying pan and a big apron.
