Have come across this.
It folds down quite small.

It's cheap so it just about passes the walletometer test.

Personally speaking, I don't see a need for it as our current stomping on used clothes in the shower seems to work.

Has anyone got one or willing to buy one to trial it before I think further upon it

Think there’s been quite a few threads covering this, will they help.

I LL precis the responses to save everyone else.

It would appear that the concensus is this item is absolutely ideal and a must have for a single person who needs everything and doesn't mind carrying it around for a couple of years before realising they don't need it.

Reminder to self to use the search engine.

In Spain most sites have large washing machines..never paid more than 4 euros. Why buy a machine..? Don't understand.BUSBY.

It’s not the washing that’s the trouble, it’s the spinning! I can never wring it out enough, so it takes ages to dry! No garage, so no room for an electric spinner either!

Pre Moho, so tent camping by car or motorbike, if the site didn't have a washing machine there was usually a coin operated laundrette somewhere not too far away. Now we usually find them in supermarket carparks, so we bung the washing in before we go in the shop, get it out and bung it in the drier on the way out, back to the van and put the shopping away and make a cup of coffee, drink same and then get the nice dry washing out, folded and put back away (or back on the bed etc as appropriate) before moving on to wherever.

We bought one from temu for £3, ideal to give to granddaughter for dolls clothes!

Got one, thought we would take it away on tour with us, but it’s only been out with us twice and really you can only wash underwear in it, a pair of underpants and a couple of pairs of socks at a time. Any more and the clothes just don’t move enough to clean. Personally I don’t think it’s worth the van space !

Ours can be used off grid and helps to keep my wife fit too ;)

Hand wash most things, otherwise it’s the Laundrette.
I washed the bed sheets the other day, by hand, as the Aire we were on had free water and 4 taps! It was lovely hot weather and they were dry enough to put back on the bed that PM.
Cant see the point of carting around anther bucket!

We’ve got one of these, used it almost everyday whilst away for washing cycling kit, does a great job. Its light weight and very easy to use.

Every motorhome in the world should carry a twin tub washing machine.

First you need a trug or two. Two take as much room as one. They can be used for washing up, as a ice bucket for booze, a laundry basket and best of all they make a washing machine more efficient than any modern machine. You just need to add a Posser.

Ours is 70 years old and copper, you can buy an original one on ebay for a few quid, Two trugs, one for washing the other for rinsing. One Posser and you have the perfect twin tub wherever you go. The way the Posser works forces water through your smalls cleaning them and then rinsing them as good as any machine. (y)

Stainless steel potato masher works just as well in any open container if you don't happen to have a bucket with a lid you can take for a drive full of water soap and the dirty washing.

Not in Spain it doesnt😄🫠 BUSBY.

Having sold travel washing machines for a number of years. I can tell you its the spinner that people want, most people that buy the single tubs without a spin dont get on with them. They may wash well but folk dont like dealing with dripping wet washing.

Absolutely,it’s a shame the Newbies don’t do this more often then we wouldn’t get get so many repetitive posts.

I appreciate what you say.. but without repetitive posts the forum could eventually die.. all motorhome questions having been answered.. a sort of 'Motorhome Google'

when new people join they learn from every question .. new or repetitive ..
yes, there are a lot, but when I see one I scroll past and let someone else answer..

we don't want to discourage newbies from posting for fear of being repetitive.

I do understand that but sometimes it’s often ridiculous, you get the same question almost in the same page, there’s one now , best Car to tow it’s been done time after time along with best bike rack, these are basics.

I think this has been discussed before.. .. I didn't do a search .. ;)

I disagree, it is nice to see old topics coming up again as it keeps things turning over and starts new conversations. New tips/products/ideas may have surfaced since last time.
An existing thread from a long time ago may not be looked at by old hands on here but a fresh one will.
