I've been planning which coffee machine to get for our forthcoming RP Rebel. There's not a lot of space & we love our coffee! If I can squeeze the machine onto a countertop, what is the best method to keep it in place when travelling?

Thank you, a good link!l have the Krupps Mini Nespresso machine which is very small but quite brilliant, l have it secured with the tape linked below, it’s really held solid small strip underneath and a tiny strip on the side were the machine touches a wall.It can be removed when and if necessary.

Thanks, but it's an off road machine. Everything will need to be tied or stuck down.First thing, you're driving your motorhome so not speed Round corners and no heavy braking or acceleration.
The coffeemaker should have a 'low centre of gravity. ' good non slip feet as well.
My toaster sits, unsecured, on the workspace, it has never moved when driving.

I have a bean to cup machine at home, in the van I use a Moka pot with my favourite ground coffee in it. I buy my coffee from Pollards and having decent coffee makes all the difference.Stove top Moka pot. I love mine so much (stainless) that I use one at home too.
The Krups has a wat container on the back.Thank you, a good link!
The machine I want has a water container on the back. The machine has to be moved outwards slightly to refill the water container.
I was thinking more of some sort of strap?

Thanks, I don't have a gas bottle, do you have a link please? Not very elegant, but what about those straps that hold a gas bottle?
Oooh yes.. maybe!Self adhesive velcro![]()

You are intending to be only using it on EHU then!

I will try out the coffee, but we're used to a high end machine & coffee at home (Sage Oracle Touch), we're slumming it with Nespresso for the convenience. We drink espresso only, I don't think a pot can do espresso?Another vote for a stove top mocha pot. It's what many Italian families use at home. Ours is a stainless steel Baletti. The aluminium ones seem to corrode after a while.
We used to run our Nespresso from a 2kw Sterling PSW inverter.Thank you
3kVA inverter onboard. I hope that's enough? I've spec'd the full off-grid kit.
Thanks, the idea is good, perhaps I will look for some luggage straps. As I said - not very elegant, but….

That's why I'm trying to figure the best way to tie it down. I find the Nespresso capsules to be the best of a bad bunch, although I'd prefer bean to cup like our home machine, they are just too big. FWIW The Nespresso capsules are aluminium & 100% recycled.I'd be a bit worried about where it might end up in an accident if it was heavy. We go for the stove pot mocca as well can't see the attraction in the pod machines less faff but more waste more expensive to use less green etc.
How does this work? I don't quite get how much cups you would get out of one fill. If you just have 2 cups does the rest get wasted?Stove top Moka pot. I love mine so much (stainless) that I use one at home too.

I use the mug to measure the right amount of water to put into the base of the Moka pot. I have found 3 teaspoons of ground coffee makes about the right strength for my mug for meHow does this work? The cup size is an espresso cup. We find a 4 cup one a bit small for two of us. It depends how you like your coffee if you like it less strong you could add some boiled water. How does this work?
