Clothing.......

I take 5 pairs of shorts,6 tee shirts,a fleece (Just in case) 2 pairs of socks ,2 pairs of shoes and 10 underpants,,that's my lot.BUSBY.

Can we help it if we want to be clean and fresh every day and want to look well turned out with a different change of clothing for you menfolk. You are very good actually - my hubby would only of got as far as listing the baby doll nighty before tuning out:unsure:

"Baby doll nighty" is it the 70's, another of those items that men buy in the hope that women wear. I bet if your wife was packing they'd stay where they belong, at home. Or even better, returned and replaced with a nice bit of jewelry.
I'm also in the where are the shoes camp, I pack for Nick otherwise I'd be accompanied by a tramp.

Maeve loves her new 'wardrobe'! :) Stuff has disappeared from the house, only to be mysteriously replaced with more clothes for her and the girls.

My drawer space, in the house and onboard, remains resolutely unchanged... 's been the same for as long as I can remember.

I only packed the clothes in the van.... I didn’t select them... The Beauty Terrorist had assembled said garments.

As it turns out the Baby Doll was an error...apparently she meant to pack a vest!!

I had a mate who lived on a narrowboat , at Oxford , his wife used to "surprise" him wearing a string vest and wellies !!!

Now I'm old, I don't care any more and wear what I want and feel comfortable in... usually hippy, chillax clothes ... taken so much pressure off me if I away months at a time. :).

- 1 dress
- 4 T shirts
- 4 shirts
- 2 cardigans
- 2 fleeces (already 2 in the van..)
- 7 pairs of knickers

- 1 pair of PJ’s (already pair and a baby doll ;) already in the van)
- 1pair of trainers
- 1 pair of deck shoes ( already pair in the van)

I jokingly asked why she wasn’t taking her new Wimbledon T Shirt...bugger me that went in as well.

Any other male funsters as confused as I am?

Don't complain, you are lucky your travels light ::bigsmile:.

If your touring it doesnt matter if you wear same cloths every day,,no one knows.BUSBY.

I got told I had taken to much and I had to agree when Eddie counted out 22 pairs of shoes sandals boots flip flops.
Since then cut back to half that.
Yebbut, the half that you leave behind have to be pairs, not just the lefts or the rights is it?
Cuh!

It’s all about “layers” isn’t it?

Maybe I'm lucky, my wife packs lightly, the motto is pack light travel fast, over the years this has served us well. Even on a long haul flight and a couple of weeks away we only have overhead locker baggage. The exception is skiing where more kit is needed for survival.

For a two-month trip my clothes weigh 5kg. My wife’s are 10kg. Cannot afford more weight as these are all behind the rear axle and mostly at the very rear.

Naturists don't have such problems.... just saying ;)
